My fellow doggie lovers.. So i have zena who is 8 years and has diabetes, and she is a calico toy poodle, she is such a sweet dog, growler, and talker.. So we had to take her to the vet today to have blood work done called a "curves test", its where they take blood every 2 hours for 8 hours, and check her curves, they are 20.00 a test. Zena has been excessivly drinking and peeing, not being able to hold her bladder thru the night.. She has had a limp for almost 8 months that comes and goes on her right front paw,@ the wrist or ankle.. So the vet calls me and asks me how to fiqure out her tests? I was like what, thats what i am paying u for? His reply is it will be tough to fiqure it out! i'm like Whattttttt, so i called my other vet that is out of town, and asked his opinion and gave him the heads up! I am wondering how many times to u give vets a chance, this is like the 6th screw up they have had.I take her their as they are very loving, but if they mess up this time thats it, i will take her back out to canmore I had written a letter with my requests as they have the dog dropped off @7am , telling them what needed and was authorized to be done, and they called to confirm and I had to tell him 3 times its the right front paw as she is not limping at the moment.. she tends to be driven, like when you go out for a walk and she wants to go, she has no limp, but coming back she has a very sore foot, so today i instructed them to do an x-ray on that foot, hopefully it will show something, if its there.. But i am shocked that he would say that he can;'t fiqure it out, hell they gave me the perscription!@???%$$#@@ . So as of 11:30 she is doing well.. i will up date later :o)
