Freezing Our Paws Off Up Here
It's been -40 for at least a week at my house. I've been out of the house about three times since before Christmas. I started my truck today to go into town because I'm out of dog food, and my transmission was so stiff I couldn't get it into neutral. I am going to get it going for sure tomorrow, as the forecast is for -25 to -40 for the HIGHS. Yes, you can make that Eeek face now...
The dogs are doing fine, as they get to eat moose meat while I'm out of dog food. Gosh, too bad, eh? ;-)
As for going outside, they actually played outside for a few minutes each day until today, when it was just so cold that if they could have levitated, they would have. I put bag balm on their paws, it really helps with the cold, but we never stay out more than 15 minutes in weather like this.
So all you folks who had cold weather recently, I got you trumped, but good! I hope you enjoyed the snow you had! The fact is, if it would snow, it would actually warm up!
