Hi Vlad.. how are you doing? Haven't seen you in awhile.. so hope all is going well for you. We miss you at AF! Pop in and say hello if you get a chance.
Hello Vladimir,
Thanks for the great advice on getting photos on my phone. My husband and I removed the internet, and texting part of cell program. Like everyone in this country, we are cutting costs where we can. We don't use these applications on our phones. Our kids, however have all the bells and whistles on their phones. I will get pics of Gina soon. Thanks again.
Lisa
I would most definately use my cell phone, but we don't have internet service on it, and I don't know of anyother way to download a picture to a computer. My daughter has one of those fancy new phones, and I always posting pics of my grand children on her Face Book page from it. Perhaps this weekend I can go to their house, and have some pics taken. She can send them to my Facebook page, then I can upload it to this page. Thanks for the reminder. I really hadn't thought about it since I cannot upload any of my camera pics. Sometimes I think that just the fact that my husband and I use computers and cell phones at all is amazing. The new phones are much to complicated for us. My son just use the GPS on his phone to find his way around New Orleans. He left CA, and got to Layfaette, LA in 3 days. He is a comercial diver, and the Gulf of Mexico area is the hot spot for work. Guess there are still a lot of oil rigs, and bridges, that were damaged during Katrina that must be inspected, repaired, and of course maintained. I don't think my husband and I have come kicking and screaming into the 21 century, but we are at times dragging our feet. Thanks for the great idea.
Hi! Great pic! We would love to have your cat's pics on our new social network site for pet lovers at www.PETtell.com. You can also join the cat lovers group and share pics and videos and even tips and tricks with other cat lovers in your area. Hope to see you there!
Well the vet actually gave us some sort of eye-drops for it and said that it shouldn't flare up again. At first I was wondering if it was allergies but the food thing sounds alot more likly! Thank you, I'll check it out!
Hi,
I have been trying to exchange sheets, bedding etc so they get used to each other's smell. But every time the new cat even catches a glimpse of one of my older ones, she lets out a blood curdling scream. It's been 10 days now. When I tried to rotate their rooms, the new cat is just not happy - loud meowing, batting at the room's door to be let out. Should I just let her be there and force here to get used to the new area or should I take her out immediately and out her back in her old room? I feel like she's never going to get sued to being in a different room. I cave in each time I hear her screams and let her back in the old room.
What a handsome cat!! I appreciate your comment on cats being carnivores. Yes diet is extremely important. I'm a vet tech and this issue is one of my passions, sometimes it's very difficult to get this across to clients. THANKS!!
I appreciate you commenting on my issue and at this point any advice is welcome. My other half is so worried about Muffins biting someone when they come to visit. I would go with the displaced agression if when the act was committed he was actually upset. Hes happy and playing when it happens. Its like he just doesnt know hes biting too hard,we yelp and he runs. Like I mentioned short of biting back, heh not sure to show him the differnece.
I apologize for not getting back to you, Vlad. I know your message is from awhile ago, but coincidentally that Ringling Bros. Torture Fest was in town here not too long ago. Good for you for protesting those sociopaths! I wanted to tell you also that I moved my dogs to a 100% raw (Stella & Chewy's & Preference) diet and they are doing so well. My oldest is 12 but he still has so much energy. The other two just look so healthy and the middle dog's allergies have gotten so much better. I know you are a huge advocate for this diet and so many dogs and cats could benefit from it.
Thanks for your wise insight...I went back to re-read this older blog for help. Been trying to not think or deal with this, but it keeps coming back as this guy won't give up seeking to destroy us! What pathetic human being thrives on power and control like this? Well, we hear him screaming at his wife so, obviously he is a control freak with anger issues. The creep has been real shrewd lately. He stopped his drum playing AFTER I filed a complaint with the MUD/HOA...the VP on the board is friends with his wife as they work together so, they must have told him I complained to watch out for his butt! We called the police and turned him in for fire hydrant parking violations by him, his wife, and friends....no cop came out! Emailed the MUD/HOA and they refuse to enforce state law on fire hydrants BUT called in our daughters Cad out of inspection! They use the cops to enforce all sorts of traffic violations including basketball hoops on the curb, but the cops ignore fire code? Lives at stake? Have not been keeping a log because I get busy with the grand baby(have jotted notes on calendar). He has been all of a sudden quiet over there. Instead, he showed up March 25 at a MUD/HOA meeting LYING saying our GSD was still barking! Sure he still barks, but he is not and has not been out more than 10 min's twice a day for 2 mo's! You can hear him bark inside the house, but he is inside! Even at that it is not non-stop barking! He barks at people going by! He is doing his job. If I get a shock collar on my beautiful boy will this damage his thinking? What is it with cops? Talked to my cop neighbor directly across from me. Mind you, my dog barks at him from inside the house when he gets home. What law says the dog can't bark in my home? Again, there is a baby in here so, WHY WOULD WE LET HIM bark non stop during her BEDTIME at 8-9 pm? DAH!!!! So, the Cop that the neighbor gossipers have gotten to told me my dog belongs on 20 acres not here! What the heck? We have had our home vandalized, cars robbed, peeping toms, etc in this beer budget neighborhood with champagne fantasy... and my dog dont belong here? He told us mo's ago he didn't like dogs or cats...explains it? Sad to see the gossip committe has managed to influence his thinking and opinion of us. We really had hoped he was a Christian cop with fairness. Reminds me of some popular bully in school who has their little group. If the main guy hates someone they all pick on that person! These men on my street get together, drink beer, and gossip like women. I did report these problems to the ACLU, NAACP(fight for all), TX attorney General and more. This is more than about our dog! They don't like us and want us out. I am outspoken and should they cross my boundaries I tell them! A woman aint supposed to put a man in his place! Why can't people live in peace? One time my GSD barked at another dog. when the dog came near he sniffed his butt, wagged his tail, and made friends! Animals seem to treat each other better! My guy lets a 16 mo old baby hand feed him! He is one of our pack where ever we are! He belongs on 20 acres? Has anyone else here ever experienced breed prejudice? Ex. All Dobermans are bad, dangerous, etc. Some of these idiots need to be put out to the boons not him! We are trying to move. I will bet you that after our reports to the ACLU etc we can expect more cops tailing us, greater harassment, and God only knows what! PRAY one of these agencies comes through! My PG daughter was evicted from a park and her Hispanic friend patted down by a cop last year because our MUD/HOA VP wanted them evicted for no good reason! Illegal dispatch was run on the kids too! I am living in an area controlled by BIG BROTHER where State & Federal law take a backseat to the MUD/HOA laws! America...we are losing our freedoms! (MUD=Municipal Utility District which is a political subdivision).
I am so proud of you with the way you dealt with the circus in town. I know closing arguments took place already, just hoping and praying that justice for these beautiful creatures be served, just like I would want for a innocent human....well...maybe more so
We lost our little angel after having him for 2 days, there was no saving him, he'd been stepped on, oh his little head, causing brain injury. We couldn't let him suffer. As painful as losing him was, we were put in contact with an abandoned mother cat, who along with her kittens (as yet unborn) had no one to love them. My husband and I are awaiting the birth so we can bring two of the babies home, and since we said we wanted 2 of the kittens, the other 4 kittens and momma have also since been claimed...no one ends up in a shelter or worse..yeah!!!
