Hello Diane Iread your post in Rest in peace pets. There is a huge diffrence to be made one you can help to turn around. Dairyland Greyhound park has its last race on December 31 this year 900 greyhounds are in need of new homes maybe this is what you have been waiting for. I am the fortunate owner of three ex-racing greyhounds and one whippet. They are longlived without genetic diseases and inflictions. They are gentel loving and above all else they need little and ask little and give so much in return. I am sorry to be so bold but lives are at stake. Best wishes and welcome to the group. Most sincerly Lisbeth Mønsted Larsen Greyhound Action Denmark. Drop by Greyhounds as gifts and Kelly and Lisbeth groups and have a look.
I have been meaning to get back with you and find out how you are doing.
I picked up a foster GSD on Saturday. He was pushed out of a pickup truck on a dusty, gravel road. He is 6-8 months, a good, sweet boy. He has a little problem with urinating when he gets excited or is meeting someone new, that may be why he was dumped. This is something he will grow out of, people are so impatient. I have a meet and greet on Sunday, maybe he will get a forever home right away.
Thank you for the Thanksgiving wish. I would like to return that wish to you. It will be a quiet one for me this year, just me, husband, and furkids.
Diane, I was looking at your pctures , all your pets are just beautiful. I have 2 Rotties, Bear & GiGi , saltwater fish , fresh waterfish and an Amazon parrot George.
Diane,
My deepest sympathies for your loss. My heart hurts for you.
I had a GSD that passed just the way you described. I believe that it was stomach torsion (bloat). It happens in this breed, and comes without warning.
I have cried a million tears, and you will too. We love our furkids too much, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Izzy was a beautiful girl, and she will be there in your heart forever.
Hi Diane, Just keep in mind. They have already been through a very traumatic experience, if someone dumped them. And they are no doubt counting on each other for survival. The three are probably quite bonded. So you really don't want to take just 1 of them and break them up. The other 2 will feel quite lost without their other sibling.
Hi, I live in Columbus, OH. Near Worthington & Westerville. I am looking to find a home for Dakota. A Beautiful black/white cat. I am moving to Wisconsin in 2 months and am hoping to place her before then. Please go to the group Helping Animals and read the discussion Beautiful Black/White Female looking for Loving Home and if you think you can help let me know. Thanks, Dawn

I joined the Shiloh Shepherd Lovers group. I see you were the last one to leave a messages and that was last year.
That puppy was so lucky that someone like you came along. Even if it was just dumped and got into the tar and rocks by herself, that must have been horrible for her.
Now that some time has passed, do you see think she may be a Shiloh? I have a male Shiloh now, and had a male that I had to put to rest just after he turned 6. I also have a female, coated German Shepherd Dog. They both have sable coats, and the Shiloh is a plush coat. So neither one looks likes the typical black and tan GSD.
If you are still not sure, do a search on the Shiloh Shepherd standard, that may help. Either way, if that is the dog in your photos, she is gorgeous.
Linda

Hi Diane,
Yes, we do believe Dakota is a Shiloh Shepherd, and she is such a cutie! And thanks, I like your page too. Yes we have plenty of animal friends around here;-), and they are just so spoiled, they get everything they want. I would be so very lost without them, I love them all very much.
Take care Diane, and talk to you soon,
Shelbie

Hi Diane,
Your dog is really cute. She really does look like a shiloh. See I'm thinking thats what my little puppy is.
Thanks. My pride & joy is my male gsd named K-9 Shadow. Yes, He does have that title. As in Police K-9. I actually have a total of 3 purebred german shepherds and a malinois/shepherd mix and a gsd/lab mix.
Thank you for your kind words. Mike
Are you tired of participating in groups and discussions and having a certain group of people bully you, and scrutinize your character? Just because you do not bend to their way of thinking.... Well, if so come and join a group where you can partic…
