Hey girl!! Well, we FINALLY bought a house too. Congrats on your new house!!! It has been nothing but a pure headache, but we have a house!! Its 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, 2 car garage and its about 1400 square feet. Thats a normal size house in this area. There are much bigger and smaller houses, but thats a typical size.
I am so glad to hear that things are going well with you. I hope everything goes good with your rescue place. You will have to keep me up to date on it. Daisy is doing good. She is enjoying the new place, she has double the space. At our old place we had a fenced in backyard, I put her out there one day while we were packing and noticed that her bark was pretty loud, Girl, my little Daisy climbed this 6 foot chain linked fence. Our fence at this house is a privacy fence. The only way she will get out is if she digs her way out...lol.
So have you decided to get the new dog yet??
Things are going well with me and my hubby, thanks for asking. We are ready for things to slow down so we can enjoy our new house. It was good to hear from you. Kepp in touch!!!
I know...I was sending him to you since your sister is not Taking Maria and he is in a pound....
On the other hand the non profit status will take time, you need to submit papers, proofs, forms go online you might find some info too.
You might need to get legal advise as well. Ask the shelter when you go since you are in CA state laws apply different than here.

Laura: you might also want to check how to obtain a 5013C status in CA (non profit) start doing some research now...this way you can have tax free deductions on purchases for the shelter and people can deduct donations on their taxes..You can start contacting your local pet stores for sponsorship and maybe once you are set send some info to IAMS or any other food co. about donations for the rescue (food).
Also we should think on set up a petfinder for all dogs I am helping a friend of mine in MO so I will get that info for Petfinder...
you don't understand how much I would LOVE to..I am too far..(in NJ) but...I can help you in any way online..I can help you creating a logo, and forms that you will need for adoption..anything than can be done thru the computer count on me!
Hi Laura,
Thanks I was cross-posting about Maria for CJ and got an update from Sheila that there is a pending rescue group taking Maria, but se doesnt want to see for sure yet until it gets finalized. I will let Sheila know your sis is interested as a back-up. Told her I would take Maria but CA to Mo is a long way to travel.
Tank loves the baby! I took Titan for his shots and Tank cried until we got home! They really love eachother..... I will be posting more pics soon, He will be 4 months on Friday and is already about 50-55lbs OMG! talk to you soon!
That i sawesome that you are wanting to take Payton to volunteer. That will be a good thing fgor you guys and for the people that you go a meet. He is such a sweet dog I know they will love him!!!
Our problem with our house hunt is the houses in our price range go before we have the chance to do anything. We are looking in the same price range as everyone else. If we go lower the houses are dumps and any higher and we will be way above what we want to pay. So we are just waiting right now hoping something will comes along soon. Best of luck with your house hunting. How are you and your bf??
Hey girl!!! Sorry it took so long for me to get back with you. Work has been so crazy, our computer stopped working and we are just now getting around to getting one. We are still looking for a house...we haven't had any luck. Daisy is having fun. Its nice outside now so she gets go go outside every afternoon when I get home from work and run all she wants. It usually makes the nights peaceful around here because she will sleep all night long...lol. Hope things are going good with you. How are Payton and Ollie doing??
makes me sick!.... We need to open a non profit rescue or rehab house for them..They just sit in the animal shelter until they get euthanised because they will not let you adopt them out here puppies or not! Makes me soooooo MAD
That's what I said when my mom told me all this when it happened a few years ago xD. She's perfectly fine now tho :). She'll be nine of ten this year, I can't recall. Ten, I think.
