Hello dawn,
I live in la crosse wisconsin.
If you are looking to place them in homes, i cannot be inservice for my home. How old are these cats and have you thought of taking them to a shelter. Shelters arent all bad, the one in onalaska has many cats that find homes in days. I live in an apartment situation. But if you need assistance please let me know what i can do.
thanks,
Hi Dawn,
I haven't found the story yet but I'm sure I will.
I wish I could help with the cats. I love cats. But, unfortunately, I can't have animals where I'm living unless my doctor writes something to the landlord saying I need them for emotional reasons. I am thinking about asking my doc to do this, so I'll have something to love and care for when my son goes to school and my husband goes to work.
I'm not sure how far Walworth is from me. I live in Madison. I think you will be north-west of me.
If push comes to shove, check out the local rescue unit. I'm sure they'd be able to help, unless you were thinking of keeping the little fur-faces.
In any regards, good luck, and I am sorry I can't help you out.
Hi dawn! I wouldn't have a prob. taking her (I live kind of out in the country) BUT my bf isn't fond of cats =[ I will def. keep my eyes/ears open for you and let you know... you said you are moving in 2 months right?
Hi Dawn...I just spoke with my vet and he gave me a few numbers you can call and/or visit their websites. One place takes in animals and is a No-Kill shelter(I didn't know if you would need them, but just in case!!) and their website is nokillnetworki.org. They should be able to help you, I hope only in dire circumstances, to find a good place here in Wisco. The other place is called Happy Endings, and their phone number is 414.744.3287. I wish you and the cats the best of luck!! Please let me know if I can help you and your cat(s) any more!!
I wish I knew about cats...but, alas I don't! I will keep my eyes and ears open...I don't really know too many people here who have farms/barns but as much as I love animals I will try my best to find homes for them. And please, don't abandon them!!!
Dawn, I graduated from Capital University in Bexley. I spent 4 wonderful yearsin Columbus. What is your opinion on the phone numbers I gave you? These people travel to pick up animals for adoption. I got my Siamese from somewhere in Ohio. Look at her...she is a stitch! Thanks again!Peggy
Dear Dawn,
I am so sorry that you cannot take your kitties/cat with you to WI. Don't you have a no-killrecue that will take your cat, foster it and put it up for adoption? It must be breaking your heart to wonder what the cat will have in its future. I am unable to take another cat. I wish you all the luck. Please call any and all adoptable societies in your area and then go to PET-FInder and put your cats faces up on hte page. What bothers me tremendously is that if you cannot screen who adopts your pet..that would be awful. There must be a home somewhere in Columbus. We have The Animal REscue Center - phone-216-476-0433 or 440-390-0699. THey may come down to Columbus to take your cats and screen potential owners. I live just 10 miles from Cleveland in WIlloughby. PLease call them and try to get them to take your cats. thanks Peggy
I'm so sorry Dakota can't join you when you move! What is going to become of the rest of your kitties? ;-( I'll spread the word to see if I can find anyone who is interested in adopting Dakota, although I don't know how successful we'll be. That's how we ended up with Gidget, our little girl. She showed up at our door every night at 7 sharp, begging for food and we took her into the garage when we began to fear for her safety. No one would adopt her even after we got all of her vet treatment taken care of. We're happy it worked out that way. We adore our little fur daughter!
Hi Dawn. I wish I could take in the cats but I am allergic to cays (and my dog, for that matter) and I doubt my apartment would want me having more than one pet. I do have several friends who are cat lovers and I will ask if they'd be interested in taking them all in. Is this for good, or just for a little while??
There was this cat that is in my building that looks like she/he could use some serious care her leg appears to be broken and dislocated i live in the bronx @ 1729 walton ave my name is Brenda Brazell 719-901-1007Will any one come resue this poor ca…
This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing websites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free. It is the old what goes around comes around routine. Did you acquired lots…
I had to put my dog(best friend) down barely a month and a have ago. Is it normal for me to still cry all night? I've been looking for a new dog even though I won't be able to get one for quite some time. Is what I'm feeling normal?
