As the Oreo euthanization discussions/debates wage on, it is my hope that, as a positive outcome, ways are developed to prevent the kinds of aggression that sometimes develops in rescued animals, and that ways are found to break down that aggression with trust and love so that more pets can be saved in the future.

Second, I've just seen at youtube that animal precinct is over, the last ep I watched was from 2005/2006, I believe AP is late here in Brazil.

The problem is that all Latin America is becoming communist and I don't know if you've alreay noticed that in communists countries people don't have pets because they don't have enough for them so they can't have pets. As an italian citizen I hope Europe Union will offer help to the europeans living in Brazil to run from the country and with our pets if needed.
I really want to live abroad, since I learn (I'm still learning actually) English at a school that teaches britain English I used to dream about live in the UK, likely london, however they have a 6 month quarentene for animals and I'd like to take my pets once I had a house and conditions to take care of them by myself. The easiest country to take pets is the US, no quarentene. I'd like to work at United Nations and create inside of it a group (like UNICEF,UNESCO, I don't know how they call a "division" of UN) to watch animals rights, for both wildlife and pets, creating basic rules that should be followed by all countries all over the world.
Well, you've 20 cats (the interview was from last year), 2 of my cats are having problems, I brought one of them from my countryhouse adult and another cat here is really scared of her, they are much better now but it has been 1 year and 4 months and the problem is still going on, they are all speyed (neutered, I don't know the difference, sorry, in portuguese we only have a word) and I really would like them to get along. There's a program called the dog whisperer, I need a cat whisperer. I don't know what to do and I can't take the cat back to our countryhouse because she had her both ears removed due to a skin cancer so she can't live outdoors. BTW, you can see them in my page, it's not because they're my babies but they are just amazing, aren't they cute ???

I would be honored to have you as a friend. I watch "Animal Precinct" "Animal Cops" (Michigan, NY, Detroit) Everyday now that it's on AP and NGC. Some of them are hard to watch, but there's no better way to fuel your passion and to educate yourself so you can defend animals knowing the facts and the truth. I don't know how you are so patient with people who are cruel and neglectful to animals. It takes a special kind of person for that.

Hi Annemarie, Just a note of sincere appreciation for all your work and information to help mistreated animals. It makes me crazy when I visit a pet store and I see pets for sale. I want to know where these animals came from so bad. I've asked the employees if they are from a puppy mill. Of course the answer is "no". Just maybe my question is enough to make someone uncomfortable when accepting more later. I wonder how can more people be reached to be educated not to abuse or neglect animals. I am an RN and I work in a large urgent care clinic. I see many people with dog/cat bite injuries. All must be reported. Each time, for me, it is gut renching. So many questions go through my mind in an instant.
I guess I am wondering if there is something I could do in the community to make an impact on animal cruelty and neglect locally.
