Perhaps one day you can come-up here and ride. All togther we have 11 horses, we could have FUN !!!... I also, am creating a Derby/Jumper course w/ gravs, ditches, sukken Road, and of course a water jump... We'll play out there and have a ourown Jumping Derby.... I love to practice at home with other rider's like us... Unfortunatly, my best Rider is scard to jump the bigger Jumps so usually I have no one to do jump-off's with... Sounds corny, but it definitly keeps the Job fun...
We have a HUGE snow storm (yuck)so I have to run!!! I have some Great sale horses, let me know if you know anyone looking!!!
Thnaks much,
Louis.

It sounds like we have very similiar backgrounds!!! Wow, not to many of us are so LUCKY to have those great experiences!!!... I catch rode myself, and I totally agree a wonderful learning experience!. I remember one of my craziest days of my life down in Wellington. I not only competed all my horses , some of Pauls' Horses, and schooled all Karens, but catch rode 54 horses in both Hunter Rings ( you could say even though I was really inshape I was so sore for the Grand-Prix two days later (LOL) ). You sound like a Rider I would love to have on my team!!! To bad your soooo far away :-(.... We'll keep chatting

I do have my hands full (more than most could understand). I am looking for another Rider, I currently have two bur definitly need 1 or 2 more. Unfortunaltly, I beleive you live in Arizona :-( , I could be wrong let me know. I have recently been injured, I have a torn ACL as well as a torn Median lateral ligament. I still teach, lunge, muck, and do what ever I can, but I cannot ride. I will be having surgery for the 2nd. time on this knee. As a Rider, you know how frustrating that is!!!. My 3 young T/B's. have soooo much potential it's not funny. The big Chestnut is well on his well to being a Grand-Prix Jumper, the bay filly(just turning 3 today)is showing HUGE potential as a very fancy Hunter, and my other bay gelding is too young to know what he'll excell in. Right now he show's great potential as an EQ horse or Jr/Am. Jumper (maybe the Hunters, but he just turned 4 on Feb. 23 09' and already stands a bit over 17Hands. his brother is the chestnut " Skippy", and he was about the same size at that age. Little did I know, "Skippy" would grow to a whopping 18.2Hands in 1 yr. (so unusual for a T/B), so i am taking my time w/ his brother "Bono". I came from 3 major Trainers. Paul Valliere (as a Jr.), George Morris as both Am/Jr. years, and Karen Quirk forever. I also hook up w/ Margie Goldstien-Engle on the rode here or there. My expectations of a Rider are somewhat high, and as a Trainer, I teach just like Karen, Paul, and George ( George is much more forgiving than my other Trainer's) LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let me know,
Louis.

Love your T/B Great photo !!! I am a Hunter/Jumper rider. I ride upto the Grand-Prix level, and the Regaular Hunters. I am on the circuit, but am currently training three new Mounts, 1 Grand-Prix Jumper, 1 Hunter, and 1 well he just turned 4 so he is too young to know what he'll excell at. He does show potential as an EQ, Hunter, and possibly a lower level Jumper (perhaps a high Jr./Am. Jumper, but I think he would perfer the Hunter Ring. Well have to get tothe barn.
