Hi Bobbie!
It looks like we're having some serious separation anxiety problems with Jenna right now, it wasn't like this when we got her but we can't pinpoint what has changed, either. I'm wondering if we should allow her to have one piece of furniture as her own, because it seems that her misbehavior happens when she can't get on the couch or the chair...
It prompted me to take her back to the vet and they checked her urine and come to find out she has an ear infection. peeing all over the place is her way of telling us something is wrong. They told us benadryll and gave us ear drops. The gunk they pulled out of her ears was nasty. I didn't have the vet I spoke with on the phone last night and the one I saw was great! Our vet tech was a young woman that is a self proclaimed biggest pitbull advocate in our area. She showed us how to put the drops in and when we were checking out brought her pitmix out to play with princess for a few minutes.
Oh BTW I grew up with a German shephard and LOVED her!! She was my birthday present when I was 4. My Dad got her from a breeder in Germany and after she was quarentined before coming onbase in spain she was trained by a guy names Bo ( I think) that also trained the DOD K9's She was the best dog ever. I learned alot and, I know I shouldn't, but hold all my pets to her standards. She was great with us as kids and I could do what ever I wanted to her. When I was young I would dress her up in my clothes and have tea parties and all kinds of stuff with her. I could even take her to a local festival and walk her not on a lead. I was young enough to think it was ok but now I realize it wasn't ok. I miss that dog like she was a sister. My mom still has her ashes and pictures of her up in the curio. We as a family Love that dog still to this day and we still talk about her and it's been 16 years since she passed.
Hey Bobbie.
Things are going better she hasn't peed in the house yet today. She did wonderful at the vet and since we put the drops in seems to be doing better. I can't thank you enough for your help!

Hey Bobbie, she tries to get up there when we're sitting on it but we push her down and tell her "no" firmly. If we don't put boxes on the couch overnight or while we're gone (or even if we take too long in the shower), we find her up there and often have to say "NO" and remove her.
She's the only dog, female, 2 years old, lab/pit. Three of us in the house- two gals (26/27) one dude (28). She's mostly "my" dog as I spend the most time with her, but she will listen to commands from anyone and is especially well-behaved for my boyfriend, as he has the firmest voice.
Besides the couch, and and chewing up a few of my belongings (and only mine) if I'm gone "too long," she will talk to us until we pet her. Her previous owner left her alone with one nasty dog and one older dog for upwards of 10 hours a day, so I understand that she is very attention-hungry. We show her lots of love and she's really a great dog!!
Hey Thanks alot for your help. I really do appreciate your insight. I just got off the phone with the vet and I am not pleased with his response. "well if your calling at 11pm then it must be an emergency" that was his response to me asking him if this warrants a pronto trip. This is a practice so I will speak to them about it tomorrow when I visit the office. I am sure that I won't sleep tonight. But like I learned in Church it's not my place to get offended, It's my place to forgive.
Thank you for the comment! Yes he is a long haired GSD. Just wanted to thank you for helping the four leggers! They truly are innocent and do not deserve the cruelties of this world, love unconditionally and are loyal to the end! I also have 2 female cats along with my dogs and would love to foster, just trying to talk my husband into it!
hey bobbie. keylo and i are doing good! thanks for asking.how are you doing?? i was doing some papers for some PD's today.. gotta wait a while before i can even think about k9. even when the time comes keylo wont be out in the field..

oh, okay, GSD. yeah cassie looks a bit like one in that photo but she's a corgi/aussie mix. and thank you, she is gorgeous, well, was! ha! her fur is growing back funny with her old age. she's 14 and we shaved her for the summer (long hair) but it won't grow back all the way.
lol the one tittled chillin is him for sure.. he was just making one of his many faces in it.. lol he looks possessed in it.. i dont see the pit resemblence... haha i never used the tape and stick method with his ears. i let them be. they can up on their own. : )
Hi bobbie! hope all is well. thanks for the compliments! yeah he was a few weeks younger in one picture than the other. his ears do look a little bit more floppy in one than the other.. lol he is oddly to put it, my best buddy. i wouldnt trade him for the world. he sleeps in bed with me, and protects me 24/7. its funny how you said he would make a great k9 unit dog.. lol i am going into law enforcement myself. and learned k9 training from friends of mine at the sheriff's office. they taught me all that i know.. hope to hear from you soon! enjoy your weekend. : )
It's been alot worse than this.. It infuriates me. These people say money could be spent better elsewhere but I don't see them offering their time or money for any other causes. They just hide behind the keyboard and piss & moan.
The more peole I…
I had no issue initially, and if any one of those people asked me to help them with saving an animal I would still do it in a heartbeat, because that is the only thing which matters. However I cannot speak and to quote you for the other "side."
Thi…
Thank you Darrell. I really appreciate you compliment. CHRISTMAS is my favorite holiday. I have a senior with bad allergies so I am sharing with my experience.
