Comment by Alice Burke on November 18, 2008 at 8:10am - This is so wonderful! I am a medically-retired RN because I am a heart and lung patient, and my job has become to much for me at 35! I have filed for disability, but I want desperately to volunteer somewhere when I feel well. I used to volunteer for a local ambulance company while going through nursing school on federal money! I feel I need to earn my $$$ and this has given me hope for something I can do when I feel well, and I canhelp others feel better, too! Thank you so much for this wonderful idea!
