I signed this petition and I forwarded it to everyone on my windows live contacts and I pray everyone will get involved and sign this petition...I do not understand how anyone could do such a horrible act...why on earth did the person(s) receive no consequences for this?? If this isn't cruelty and abuse then what is??

I sent a lengthy email to Mayor Wharton and included several links (to the petition site and to the site the story was reported from) and I asked for his attention and assistance. I also asked him to forward my email to other officials who might be more appropriate to investigate this matter.

Oh my! They don't need an eye witness, just haul in that girl and make her sign a confession since she admitted it already. What the hell is that all about? An eye witness? To make things worse, you know as well as I do that there isn't going to be a witness since she burned a helpless dog giving birth, people are going to be scared to testify against her because she might do the same thing to them.

This girl admitted it. This guy needs a lawyer's advice.

Once again - drugs and alcohol will contribute to a stupid person's extra oomph of stupidity! My concern sits right here "But to make matters worse, nobody has been charged with the crime."

The laws are out there. Thanks to the ASPCA and other groups like them, there are punishments. However, they're never enforced. I will definitely sign the petition, but I hope that there will be a severe punishment for this girls ignorant and hateful, and very illegal act...

In my own opinion, if someone had a problem with me...come after me...do NOT touch my dogs.
