animal cruelty

I have a 4 month old bulldog that was kicked by a neighbor, in the face, three days ago. The police came out and even though he admitted to kicking her, the police said they could not do anything. She went to the vet yesterday because she now has cherry eye in the eye she was kicked. The vet said that this normally happens when there is trauma from something or someone. I can't believe we can not do anything to this neighbor.

This is in reference to a criminal case that is currently being prosecuted. A dog was hung in a vile fashion, ending the poor creature's life.
The case # is F08003519. Case information can be found here: http://www.miami-dadeclerk.com/cjis/search1.asp

The case is in Miami, Florida.
Please spread the word. The police, miami-dade animal control and the prosecution are doing their best to prosecute this case and seek justice for this silent victim, but the judge seems determined to give this individual the lightest punishment she can award in this matter. She does not feel that even though animals are flesh and blood, can feel pain and suffering just like everyone else, that animal rights matter. She will let this individual walk away scott free without jail time, because she thinks no one cares. She is actually entertaining the possibility of dismissing the case on the grounds that this is "not a cruel death." Unfortunately beyond the police, animal control and the prosecutors, no one speaks up for, or cares for this dead stray and the judge thinks that because this is not a human being, this is a trivial matter. Please, if you care, send your letters to the judge to let her know that people in America care about seeking real punishment for people who in a cowardly fashion, prey upon animal victims in this manner and that they should get jail time, not a slap on the wrist.

I'll spread the link and translate it and I'll also send it to everyone I know, if that helps, and I'll send a letter to that bitch. Unfortunately, she has my mom's beautiful name, Rosa, and my beautiful lastname Rodriguez, God, she really messed it all up. I hate when people I dislike have my same attributes, and characteristics. Especially if it's about rascism and animal cruelty.

Prehaps this is off topic ( I am new here) but is anyone on this site aware of the the incident in western Pennsylvania (Mercer County) involving the blind pony that was probably dragged to death by someone on an ATV?
The article can be found in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Such human depravity is beyond comprehension. Hopefully, someone will come forward and the sub-humans responsible for this nastiness will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. People that prey on animals should be banned from society.

Oh come on, of course, tell the police, or animal control what he did to your dog, don't let him get out of thisw without receiven what he deserves for treating an animal like that. I would kick your neighbor's butt if I had him in front, that makes me mad, so what did you tell him?

Do all you can, take him to court, if it continues like that you may find your doggie harmed some day.
