this past weekend, my bunny Al got sick. i took him to the vet this morning and he was diagnosed with an upper respehtory infection and his intestinal tract wasn't workning well. my vet gave me medicines and i took him home, got him comfprtable in his cage, told my dad to watch him, and went to work cuz i had to. he dies shortly after i left for work. i tried to save him, but it was his time to go. he wat 1.5 years old and was happy the whole time. i miss him very much, but i know he's waiting for me in heaven. i just wish i had got him help on time, maybe he'd still be with me.
thanks,
vonnie
thank you, mandy. last night was hard, i didn't sleep well at all. my bf's dog has mouth cancer and is dying too. i wish the best for you and your rat.
its been a week. i'm doing ok. i had a dream sunday morning that we had buried Al alive and he had dug himself out, but i know it was only a dream. i put some fake flowers on his grave in the soft dirt. thanks everyone.
I'm sorry for your loss. I understand how it feels.
But try not to blame yourself it makes the healing process more complicated. (I'm living it and I know what I tell you).
Be brave...but grieve your loss and let the time help your spirit.
thanks. but i'm doing ok. i miss him, but my friend is doing sketch for me. i'll post it online and i'm going to print it and have it framed if i have the money. also, my bf and i are going down to the humane society and adopting me a new bunny for my birthday. she'll be an early birthday gift, seeing as how my birthday is in dec, and we're going at the end of aug.
Just remember Al is now in that big clover patch in Heaven..He is happy with God, and God will love him there as he did here. You are right, he is waiting for you in Heaven. You did all you could, don't blame yourself, because Al knows you love him and tried to save him.
