This site is intended for teenagers and older. I'm aware of the cyber bullying that has been going on with some of you. If you're 11 or 12, you shouldn't be on this site. Please stop creating different profiles and leaving vulgar comments on each other's pages. This is dangerous and will not be tolerated. Someone can get hurt in real life.
If someone on this site is bullying you, tell your parents immediately and then report it to us.
Remember, this Community is for ANIMAL LOVERS. There is no room for fighting here. Action will be taken against those who break the rules.
Since my comment was deleted, how about I bump this thread to remind of what Elyse has said

Kelley, I sure hope your dream comes true for you. That would be great for the animals!! Their are other sites you can join more of your age. If you want he list of them, ask me on my page and I'll send them to you.

Well said. Thank you for posting this. And, Doreen, sorry about you being bullyied on here. This is supposed to be for animal lovers, not for rude people to say mean and hurtful things. And, everyone, if you get bullied, report it! And then, hopefully that person will get banned.
From what I've seen, since the attempt at house cleaning, the underage kids have pretty much settled down.
As far as this site being full of trouble makers, I have to disagree. There are many people who are very passionate and many of us are just outspoken. I personally never assign emotion to a comment. It is just a website after all.
I recall a particular member, Tia D, who joined for no other reason than to promote an agenda that wasn't even animal related. (remember the forum discussion on the marine video?) This person made numerous attempts to impune the reputation of myself and another member. So what? She/he was eventually exposed as a fraud and poof, they went away.
I still think what this website needs is more moderation.
We've lost some really good, well informed members who contributed much to this website.
I have to agree with Michael on this. Well said. That was what I have been trying to say all along. You just can't blame the kids for all this. Adults, too, have a bit of blame too.
Well, the kids are still here and I'm ok with that. There really wasn't any
way of enforcing that rule of being 14. They're better behaved than before and I think that was the real issue with a lot of people.
What is sad is the loss of some good contributing members. This website feels like a ghost town compared to the lively exchanges we used to enjoy. I'm not as involved as I used to be. I've noticed more and more people joining who have no other involvement than to ask for help and that is the sum total of their participation.
I responded to one on the website and through e-mail and have heard nothing.
I'm starting to think, "what's the use?" I truly have better ways to spend my time. I'm still very active in what I consider important. Don't need to be here to do that.
And Mike, we do have some kids on here who are very intelligent and very capable of carrying on interesting conversations on an adult level. I think the problem was with the non animal related stuff like Miley Cyrus, that emo crap and the whole groupie thing that was going on.
I also do not mind the kids being here, given that they do not cause trouble, name calling etc...that goes for the adults too. We all know how to disagree politely, so lets please do so.
