This ad is the most ridiculous and asinine ad ever. This joker says that he is a meatarian and it is"his personal choice" and he is committed to it.This is a slap in the face for vegetarains such as myself whose vegetarianism is a immutable lifestlye and center of my life. for me it is a personal committment and I have been practicing it for over 20 years. (I am 80 years old). This joker shoud be made to watch the video and or visit a slaughterhouse,(Howard Lyman said that if you ever have a chance to visit a slaughterhouse, don't.

Wow...where do these people come from....seriously. A mental hospital just got computers I see. We have one in another thread saying feed humans to dogs and this one is speaking Shakespeare and making no sense. For freedom, but yet shoving your crap in people's faces are not the same. Wake up and realize that this is a free country and I eat meat. Call me an animal abuser, I could care less.

Bambi, the correct usage is "iIcouldn't care less" Your phraseology does not make sense.I could care less means just that and that you care,Better brush upn your grammar.but please just go away.

And you show your ignorance by picking on something petty like grammar. God indeed created animals, after he created man...the animals were indeed for Adam. Man was made in God's image, animals were not. You choose something as the likes of grammar to insult because you know I am right. It does not make animal cruelty right, but I have spent many months praying over this as I too was at odds to whether to become vegetarian or not, and the answer I was given was not. By the way, you don't make people "come over to your side" and convince them you are right by insulting them.

At least you considered it.Good girl.
Grammar enables one to say what one means, not what one doesn't mean.either you could care less or you couldn;t care less/Clarity is important. As for insulting you are quite good at that.perhaps when you have lived to my age you might become enlightened. As for the Bible, that seems to be your source of information and it is not possible to engage in meaningful debate when one takes the bible literally. You have your religion. Mine is Ahimsa, do no harm, and this includes all living sentient feeling creatures,The end please.I do not wish to continue this /I am an atheist. I know that will really offend you.Weren't animals here first?"According to evolution but I am sure that you believe in the myth.of creationismNO MORE REPLIES

I believe that is couldn't.. with an apostrophe. Also, there are TWO spaces after a period before the next sentence begins. (Sorry, I just love people that live in glass houses)

Seriously, isn't this thread getting a bit weird? Enjoy your hamburger, your tofu or whatever it is that you eat. Don't assume that because I have a steak on occasion that I am any less an advocate for animals than a vegetarian.

Be happy and quit wasting your energy trying to change others - just help the animals. It is, after all, why we come here. It is our common brotherhood and the least we should all do is respect one another.

Yes animals were here first and then God created man to eat them.

Thank you bams!

Bams I know you are a good person...no matter what you put in your body. I guess freedom of choice and freedom of speech only apply if your opinions match those of everyone around you...I am a bit lost to when this happened but it is obvious that it has. I suppose I'm an evil animal abuser too even though all the hard work I've put into animal rescue, the donations I've made to Defenders of Wildlife, ASPCA, HSUS, and the list could go on...but all that is overshadowed by the fact I eat meat.

You do not directly abuse the food animals. but it is rather ambivalent to be so kind and caring toward SOME animals but not to this who taste good.do they not bleed?do they not suffer?I will never understand this deeply held prejuduce against food anmals. Can you explain>some places they eat dogs ,

There are also countries that eat horses, and cats, and pigeons! How do you know that these animals don't taste good? I sure don't know. But yes other countries eat this way. May it be because of Mad Cow spreading like a rampant wild fire over europe shoving them into alternative protien sources. May it be because there isn't enough land space in Japan/Korea/etc to raise cattle for food and the risk of eating fish all the time is Scurvy. Is it right? Is it wrong? Who are we to say what people of other nations, other beliefs, other cultures, and other religions do or don't put in their bellies? It's just different than what we percieve as normal...The best example of perceptions differing would be the Indians who lived in Tee-pees and worshiped non-chirstian gods and lived off the land and were one with nature...then the "white man" came and saw this as not normal so they destroyed (litterally DESTROYED) a complete culture! It's the same narrow mindedness that makes people say they are better than others due to the foods they choose to eat or not eat.

I am not better than. I have just gone beyond the prejudice agsinst food animals. They too suffer-this is not debatable. It is not a question of being bad, just uninformed. Unelightened. We ares o cused to eating"meat" that no one questions it.some will when they learn of the horrors of factory farming.Others will not. Most do not want to know or havn't the slighest idea (remeber cosmetic research? fur industry, dog labs?0

And again WHO ARE WE to say who is or isn't "enlightened" by Who's standards? Let's just go ahead and keep destroying all individuality, all cultural bases, all religious factions until everyone is the same lemming with no point of view of their own just nice clean uniformity.

You go ahead and not eat meat and the rest of us that are debating will continue to eat meat and agree to disagree...I will give you that corporate farming/slaughtering has gotten out of hand...I know because unlike some who have only seen it on YouTube or other internet hosts and said "oh-no!" I've seen it...and once again I do not approve of corporate farming standards (or lack there of).

Oh and the old saying-you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar stands...you want to sway people to your point of view it may be best not to call them crazy bible thumpers...once again showing how "open minded" you are as well. Pot calls the kettle what?
