I have a 4 month old bulldog that was kicked by a neighbor, in the face, three days ago. The police came out and even though he admitted to kicking her, the police said they could not do anything. She went to the vet yesterday because she now has cherry eye in the eye she was kicked. The vet said that this normally happens when there is trauma from something or someone. I can't believe we can not do anything to this neighbor.

Thumbs up Mike!!!!!

Yes wendy. You are right.
I know first hand, an evil , evil man once lived, he is dead now, who worked at a "popular pharmecutical company".
His job was to kill the animals at the end of the day after testing. Horrific.
Sadly ,he was paid good money for this job.

Not only was he evil in his day to day life, (pedophile) he was a sadist ,obviously , who was after kids.

I was glad to hear he died.
I heard stories when I was a kid. He died while I was in my early 20`s , but not before I had my chance to expose him.
I told everyone who knew him.
I feel sure that alone was what gave this monster 4 strokes the same week.
May he and others like him ,rot in Hell.

I know euthanasia is a peaceful way to go, as I have witnessed, with sick, old animals, in my lifetime, at my vet.
This company did not use euthanasia, they used another method.

But true, not all, but some volunteers, have to be twisted to be able to handle, or execute, every day ,all day.

Humans must spay and neuter!!!!
It should be a law.
It should be law to take a test, before you have children.

Until we pass laws for animals, this will go on.

Never give up hope.
Spay/neuter laws will happen.
They will.

Remember "A small group of people could change the world, indeed it`s the only thing that ever has" M. Meade ,said that.

Peace ,Love ,xoxo, Keep fighting ,
Lona

Let your love flow outward through the universe,
To it's height, it's depth, it's broad extent,
A limitless love, without hatred or enmity.
Then as you stand or walk,
Sit or lie down,
As long as you are awake,
Strive for this with a one-pointed mind;
Your life will bring heaven to earth.

More than 90 animals rescued from a broken-down U-Haul last weekend are being put up for adoption at Little Rock's Animal Village Saturday. Despite what they've been through, officials say most of the dogs have maintained a kind, calm demeanor.

They've been bathed, groomed, and had their shots--and Saturday they'll be ready to go to their meet their new families.

The director of Little Rock Animal Services says he's already received overwhelming response from people who want the dogs, so the adoption process will work like a lottery system.
The adoption event starts at 8:00 a.m., and officials say they will allow one dog per family.

Meanwhile, the animals’ former owners--42-year-old Johnny Franklin Maynard and 54-year-old Sharon Ann Maynard--face 172 animal cruelty charges.

it's a shame that Arkansas doesn't consider this a felony though....their statute 5-62-101 classes it as a Class A misdemeanor, 1,000 max fine and 1 yr max jail, but since it is so many counts lets hope it 172 years in jail. In the meantime Arkansas state reps, governor, etc. needs responses to strenghten their laws.

I guess I'm mean ,but I think these people should be locked in a u-haul.

Teeri: Are you kidding me? You are no way mean. What goes around comes around. An eye for an eye. I'll help you load up the smallest U-Haul we can find! You go girl and let it out and bring it on. The way you feel, I bet the entire community feels the same!

THERE AREN`T ENOUGH WORDS.
YET, WE ARE THEIR VOICE, AND WE MUST VOICE.
THE LEVEL OF SICKNESS, AND CRUELTY ,THESE ANIMALS HAVE ENDURED IS ;UNIMAGINAVLE AND UNFORGIVABLE.
INSTEAD OF LAB TESTING ON ANIMALS, LETS TEST ON , "HUMANS", OF THIS SPECIES, BECAUSE THEY AREN`T OF MY SPECIES AT ALL. CALLING THEM "HUMANS AT THAT",IF YOU WILL, IS A COMPLIMENT OF SORTS.
THAT WON`T HAPPEN OF COURSE.
THERE ISNT A PUNISHMENT BAD ENOUGH.
SADLY, IF THIS WERE A CASE INVOLVING $$$$ , MORE WOULD BE DONE, AND IT MIGHT EVEN MAKE THE 6 O` CLOCK NEWS ,ALL OVER TH USA.
JUST A BUNCH OF ANIMALS RIGHT?
WRONG.
KEEP GOING, KEEP FIGHTING, KEEP YELLING, UNTIL THIS CHANGES. IT CAN BE DONE AND WILL.

An Arkadelphia couple is accused of animal cruelty after more than 90 dogs, cats and birds were found abandoned in a U-Haul in Little Rock.

Forty-two-year-old Johnny Franklin Maynard and 54-year-old Sharon Ann Maynard are to appeal in court on 172 animal cruelty charges. The charges include neglect and failure to provide medical aid. Volunteers and Little Rock Animal Shelter staffers worked overnight Friday evaluating the conditions of the animals.

Purebred Chihuahuas, Pekingese, poodles and terriers were among the menagerie, along with cats and birds.

Shelter director Tracy Roark says the truck had broken down and been abandoned at least two days.

So many... so little time and resources to save them all.
God Bless everyone who saves a stray or rescued animal to bring them into a forever home!

OMG... how could these people have done this?? To leave the animals inside a U-Haul truck even while gassing up or stopping to eat and not opening the doors and walking animals to stretch would be too long... but abandoned for 2 days???!!! These people should suffer the same fate, only longer.
I hope they throw the book at them and hit them where it really hurts... plus a long prison sentence... no plea bargains allowed!!
So sad and so needless and irresponsible.
Where were they taking these animals in the first place??

WHat kind of time are we talking for these two boils of society???? Beautiful animals treated like garbage....throw the book at these two ass>>>>>es....I wish I would win the lottery so that I can set up a nice hundred acres somewhere where all the animals beaten abused abandoned...can live the rest of their lives out....but back to reality I help one at a time....please prosecute these two...let us get stronger laws and punishments it is just not acceptable to do this....

Hey Edda,
You are my soulmate. I love the way you think my friend. I too pray for money to start my own sanctuary and rescue all animals who are being abused BUT I will take it one step further, I would find the biggest ,baddest, strongest men to DO EXACTLY THE SAME ABUSE TO THE FELON THAT THEY HAVE DONE TO AN HELPLESS, DEFENSELESS, ANIMAL. Let's pray together for the necessary funds and land to provide a home/sanctuary for our beloved animals. I share your disgust and anger towards those who could do such things to Gods creatures simply because they CAN! God Bless you for saving one at a time for now but I know we will have our dream because I share the same one with you.
