Maya and Lulu (Rescued as puppies from a kill shelter in SC)
How we met:
Maya came to us after Hurricane Katrina. Her Mom, Hannah, was founded stranded in the New Orleans area after the storm, and she was pregnant. Hannah was transfered to a shelter in SC, where NY Pet Rescue picked her up. We adopted one of her wonderful pups, and still keep in contact with her Mom!. Lulu was found abandoned at a construction site, and taken to the same shelter in SC, which is known as a "kill shelter." We gladly took her in, and we're so in love with both of them!
Pet likes:
Hugs and kisses, long walks, play time with Mommy and Daddy, splashing in the pool, chasing butterflies, and ice cubes!
Pet dislikes:
The vacuum cleaner, bathtime, and rainy days.
Pet’s favorite spot:
In our bed!!!!!!!
Pet’s favorite toy:
Anything that squeaks, and frozen marrow bones.
Pet’s silliest habit:
Lulu does tumblesaults, and bumps into things quite frequently, and Maya "guards us from the squirrels."
Pet’s sweetest moments:
Sleepy time
I crack up when my pet:
Looks up at me when she knows she's done something wrong, and pretends she doesn't know what I'm talking about!
My pet is unique because:
They're my kids, and they know it! Spoiled rotten!
