Profile

My website or blog:
http://chocolatethunder84@myspace.com
Proud pet parent of:
1 yr old fawn female doberman pinscher,Juliet. Orange and black tiger stripe red nose pitbull, Kione
How we met:
I was looking for a mate for my male doberman at the time and found a couple with doberman puppies. Juliet was the last puppy left, the couple didn't want to let her go and she was so cute following behind the couple. They allowed me to add her to my family. Kione was found in Memphis, TN by my sister. She was abandoned by her former family along with her sister, brothers and father. Kione was brought to me and has been with me every since.
Pet likes:
Juliet loves to run, jump around, roll in the grass, play with other dogs regardless of how they feel, sleep in the bed with me and loves attention. Kione likes to play with Juliet, run, jump around and chew on everything and anything that fits into her mouth.
Pet dislikes:
Juliet hates smoke, hates for another dog to get attention if she is in the room, not having her way, and being alone. I haven't found anything that Kione dislikes except the word NO!!!!
Pet’s favorite spot:
Juliet loves the rug in front of the tv and loves it when someone rubs her belly. Kione loves to be touched nicely by anyone and loves to lay on anything soft.
Pet’s favorite toy:
Any ball or toy they can demolish
Pet’s silliest habit:
Juliet doesn't fetch, but she will run to the toy and run back to you. Kione will bark at who ever is fixing her food to make them rush
Pet’s sweetest moments:
Juliet is sweet everyday, but her sweetest was when she let me know that I didn't have to walk her on her leash. Kione lays by me whenever she isn't in her devilment
I crack up when my pet:
Tries to make me jealous when she gets mama to rub her and look at me, then rub mama back
My pet is unique because:
Juliet is mine and she can get along with any dog that she comes in contact with. Kione was found and the only puppy to survive out of the litter

Help, Malnouished PitBull found

I was given a malnourished, seem to be at least 5 to 6 mth old female pitbull. She seems nice, good behavior, and has lived on the streets! I have a 1yr old female doberman and they seem to get along nicely. I have made arrangements to take the pit to the vet and I am considering keeping her, but I don't know much about pits or taking in any animal under these circumstances. She was found in Memphis,TN where a family moved and left the dad and puppies behind. I need help on pits and advice on what to do next

Hello Tommi-Lynette
actually I have a pitbull too and his name is Bobe and he is 3. In your situation i would see how her temper is for the next couple weeks or so and see how she reacts to things and how social she is towards people and kids.
My dog was born in my grandma's house and was raised around kids and people and he doesn't have an aggressive gene to him at all. Over all if shes been good so far then i would proceed into taking her to the vet as planned.
Pitbulls are very loving and sweet and don't let anyone tell you wrong because ive raised ten of them im sure i know a lot about them!
They are cute genorous and protective of there homes and there family wich is a good thing so i wouls say keep her she sounds sweet
well good luck to you thx
