- one reg tobiano paint geld named easy powwow born 3/24/99 my sons birthday i have had him since he was 2yrs old one 19 yr old persian female named ms mercedes ebony chante momma kitty one 2 yr old siamese cross male named aires one 2 yr old maltese dacshund jack cross named diamond one 4yr old amstaff cross born in my arms on 6/17/03 named draven and one newly rescued 1yr old amstaf named roxy who when we got her could not even put any weight on her right rear leg had several cuts over her body and pads were sliced and severly dried out and had already had at least one litter but i think possibly two my son rescued her while i was in a cardiac unit she is now doing WONDERFULLY and is learning what cats are she has never been aggressive just curious and two jack dempseys the first was brought to me on christmas eve night 2 yrs ago after a long cold night of trying to catch and bring her to me my 45 gal tank had been running dorment for over three years she got a severe case of itch and i wasnt sure she would make it but now she lives very happily with her mate and a placo they are bubba baby bubba and geco placo my animals are all a blessing and very much so my children i have fostered and placed many animals of different species over the years and all learned how to coinside with each other without being kept in cages 24/7 i am so happy that nowadays people can finnally be prosecuted for abuse and neglect
- How we met:
- many diiferent ways my horse was given to me by my boss draven was born in my arms diamond was bought from a friend roxy was rescued by my son momma kitty was bought 19yrs ago aires was given to me by a friend bubba was rescued and baby bubba and geco placo were bought to keep her company
- Pet likes:
- being with the family they all think they are lap babbies sometimes i think the dempseys want to do that too the way they look at me throughthe glass of their tanks they like to run around and play with each other even mamma kittty powwow my biggest and best friend loves rides in the trails he likes to open his stall door and climb up stairs he is a big hit in all the parades he does in boston and surronding areas he alsso loves all the kids who come to see him
- Pet dislikes:
- being left alone even though they always have the tv left on for them
- Pet’s favorite spot:
- on the couch or in the bed with me or my son the cats have their own spot on top of the entertainment unit they all know they are not allowed near tables or counters no where where their is human food they are all on a strict diet of iams dry self feeders milk bones and bone marrow on occassion cat treats on occassion cichled for the fish and live feeders 10/10and trotter plus two flakes twice a day and one for lunch carrots carrot flavored and apple flavored treats and peppermints and salt blocks
- Pet’s favorite toy:
- ropes fishing lines plastic bottles which i have to keep taking away bone marrows
- Pet’s silliest habit:
- all three dogs jumping on my lap at the same time my horse climbing stairs and escaping to eat the grass he doesnt make a move to run away and he also loves drinking your soda or coffee so you cant leave bottles cups or cans around him he knows how to drink out of them
- Pet’s sweetest moments:
- all curled up together sound asleep
- I crack up when my pet:
- lots of times they all do pretty amazing things but powwow at a parade when he tries to eat balloon hats that are red and green he will walk up to everyone and say hello he is pretty vocal
- My pet is unique because:
- they are all individuals with their own wonderful personalities
