Proud pet parent of:
Fleetwood Mac, 14 yr old long haired ginger tabby, Baxter, 9yr old domestic shorthair, Rose 4 yr old domestic short hair, Rizzo, 2 yr old short haired tabby, Gus, 1 yr old domestic long hair, Precious, 1 yr old Maine Coon and Button, 4 month old domestic long hair with tabby markings and white nose, throat and legs.
Bella, a 3 yr old Siberian Husky, from a Husky rescue org.
How we met:
Fleetwood was given to me by a friend, Baxter and Rose both strays that adopted us, Rizzo showed up on my deck one day, Gus and Precious are litter mates as Rose was expecting when she adopted us, and Button, an orphaned kitten.
Pet likes:
All cats like to sleep, eat and leave fur on the furniture..lol
Pet dislikes:
All of the older cats are not too fond of the dog, the orphaned kitten however, loves to play with the dog and is not intimidated
by the size of Bella...
Pet’s favorite spot:
Fleetwood, on the deck, in the sunshine. Baxter, on the deck chair or my pillow. Rose, the living room window,. Rizzo, the top of the fridge. Gus always sleeps next to the food bowls and Precious loves the computer chair. Button likes the lap of anyone who at the computer. Bella likes the sofa in the winter, the kitchen floor, under the a/c in the summer.
Pet’s favorite toy:
Bella, tennis balls and any toy that squeaks(and Button the kitten) The younger cats all like the balls with the bell in them. The older boys will occasionally play with string but for the most part, they prefer to sleep.
Pet’s silliest habit:
Fleetwood, sleeping on the roof of our mobile home. Baxter, sleeps on his back, Rose and her offspring all shake their right paws when eating or drinking something very cold and they all drag the water bowl about an inch before they drink from it. Precious and Button actually rub the water with their paws before drinking and Gus likes to drink from kitchen faucet. Rizzo also likes to sit on edge of tub when someone is in the bath or shower.
My pet is unique because:
My babies are unique simply because they are mine.

Hi there! My cats prefer the Dog's water bowl which is very large indeed. I just think that it's a weird trait in these cats since they all came from the same mama cat. They also shake their right paw if they taste something that is too chilly...they are a great bunch, all 7 of them.

HI KELLY

Cats should always have things at room temerature like in nature..not hot, not cold..
and my cats all desire a water bowl large enough so their whiskers dont get cramped..

sounds like you have a great gang there...

come see my page..see ya!
