- Jazz, a 5 year old shih tzu.
We live with 3 people, two other dogs: Baby Girl, a 4 year old Rottweiller and Henry, a 3 month old German Shepherd/Chow/? hybred and two cats who tend to ignore us.
- How we met:
- Jazz was adopted from The Friends of Animal Defenders shelter in Baltimore County by my late lover. When he was killed in an accident Jazz and I just had each other to lean on.
- Pet likes:
- hmmmm tummy scritches, soft chewy treats, laps to sit in, morning walks, breakfast and dinner, hanging out with me, rides in the car (except tunnels), rasslin' with Baby Girl.
- Pet dislikes:
- Henry when he gets over enthusiastic and too rough. Strange dogs walking on her sidewalk. Short walks. Crowds of people.
- Pet’s favorite spot:
- For walkies: Herring Run Park in Baltimore and Robert E. Lee Park in Mt. Washington (north of Baltimore).
- Pet’s favorite toy:
- Jazz isn't much of a toy pup but she will help Baby Girl & Henry chew of their chew toys.
- Pet’s silliest habit:
- When I home from being away for a day or two Jazz gets all excited, barks and jumps and licks my face and follows me to our room~ she then ignores me, she won't look at me, won't get up on the bed, or accept treats. This goes on for a few hours or even over night...then it's all over with and she acts like nothing happened.
- Pet’s sweetest moments:
- We have had plenty of occasions to cry in the last few years. Whenever I do she insists on licking the tears off my face.
- I crack up when my pet:
- Trys to howl with the big dogs.
And when she rassles with Baby Girl and wins.
- My pet is unique because:
- Every animal is unique and very special that and because she's mine and I'm hers.
