It's so nice to hear from you again. I'm a little confused about why you sent me a link about dogs & antifreeze.
So, you are thinking about doggie DNA testing....hmmm, I've never heard of it, but it sounds interesting. I would love to find out what happened to Kita before we took her in. Was she abandoned, ran away, or did someone try to end her life. Guess I would have to contact the Pet Psychic to answer that question. Your inquiry would be easier to do : ).
Took all of my dogs to the vet recently to have things taken care of...shots, heartworm/fecal testing, etc. Miss Kita is up to 123 lbs. Will she ever stop growing?! My lab, Doogie, is now on a diet. He gained about 15 lbs! I was shocked when he tipped the scales at 95 lbs. He hides it well. He just doesn't look like he gained that much weight. So far he has lost 3 lbs : ). I should go on a diet with him.
Nice vacation pictures. I love going to the mountains too. Ella looks like she had a great time.
Take it easy,
Janice
Just dropping by to say hello.
Hope you have a good week.
Namaste!

I'm glad you liked my little lap dog picture. She keeps me warm on a cold winter's night. We got 9 inches of snow today. Kita loves to romp in the snow and take in big mouthfuls when she gets thirsty.
Kita will sulk too when she gets in trouble. I've never taken her to an obedience class. I learned how to train dogs when Pilot and Doogie were Paws With a Cause foster puppies. Neither one made the cut so I guess I'm not that good at training. My triumphs with Kita is the fact that she does not pull when I take her for a walk and she comes to me when I call her. It's funny, but she won't come at all for my daughters and she has to be coaxed by my husband. She's my baby all right.
Janice
