Profile

Proud pet parent of:
I have 4 dogs... Taylor and Sara are the oldest, they will both be 4 this summer. Taylor is a dark colored golden retreiver with two titanium hips. She was born with horrible hip dysplasia and I decided to get them both replaced before she was two. She is now almost four and doing extremely well. It is like she was born with them. Sara is an american staffordshire terrier who is just a love bug. Sydney is the next in line at 3 years old. She is a chow/retriver mix. And our newest arrival is Amina anothe am staf. She is a little over six months now and just a doll.
How we met:
Taylor was unfortunately purchased at a pet store so I believe she was from a puppy mill :(. Sara and Amina are from the same AWESOME breeder in TN. Sydney I got at a shelter when she was about a year old. She was on her own for almost a year and then was picked up by animal control completely emaciated and falling apart.
Pet likes:
Tennis balls, raw hides, hiking and swimming in the Colorado Mountains, cuddling and just being loved.
Pet dislikes:
I don't believe they have any! None that I have seen so far at least. Actually, they don't like fighting because they just always want everyone to be happy!
Pet’s favorite spot:
Taylor LOVES sitting under the kitchen table on the cold floor. Amina and Sara like to be as close to us as possible. They are always sitting on our feet or leaning up against us. Sydney loves to lay on the wood floor right by the front door.
Pet’s favorite toy:
Sydney will not leave you alone with her tennis ball if you give her one. Taylor doesn't have a special toy- she loves people more. Amina and Sara's new favorite toy is this rubber person that they love to naw on.
Pet’s silliest habit:
Syndey and Taylor both talk to us especially in the morning when they are hungry. We grab Sara lightly on the hips and say "buttskeys" and she freaks out. Amina is still coming into her own all she likes to do right now is be loved, play with her sisters and eat things! :)
Pet’s sweetest moments:
When my westie past away from brain cancer my Tay layed with me day and night. I honestly couldn't have done it without her. Sydney is always the first to lay in my lap when I am crying now. Sara and Amina are just adorable. Like I said before, all they want to do is love and be loved.
I crack up when my pet:
When Sydney talks is makes me laugh each time. She does this sort of howl that is just hallarious. The "buttskeys" with Sara always makes me laugh and when I get Taylor excited she does this hop/dance thing that is hallarious. Again amina is still coming into her own- she just follows her sisters around right now.
My pet is unique because:
They are all unique because they each have their own personalities. Some times I want to kill them but most of the time they bring SO much love and happiness into our lives. I couldn't imagine my life without them
