Amanisha - I'm glad she's not from a Mill but they will be real soon, if they're not already! Sorry - I just have really strong feeling about mills - all Mills (Puppy, Bird, Rat, Cat...) They are all horrible and hedgehog - we'll will new demands for puppy mill regulations - hegehogs would be an easy game for Millers. It happens every few years , a new PET fad. People rush out to get one and then find they made a mistake (the pig fad, ferrets, and to many more to name). Then the shelter are full of dogs and exotic pets no one wants and they can't take care of. Sorry - I know you LOVE animals - I just don't like the idea of anyone buying an animal when so many are killed every minute. good luck with your hedgehog and sorry for being so harsh.

I have met the breeder for the hedgehog she was breed and put into a pet store, not from a mill. I already checked that...

Thanks - she really is extremely cute! They told us she was part German Sheppard and part Chow? She had huge ears and paws as a puppy and we really thought she was going to be about 40 45 pounds but that never happened. She'll be 5 in November and right now she's up to 32 pounds - about 7 or 8 lbs too heavy but we're working on that. This is the first small dog we've ever had and we couldn't be happier!
