How we met:
BANDIT
I first met Bandit by looking in the local Thrifty Nickel. All my life ever since I'd seen Cledus Snow (Jerry Reed) in Smokey and the Bandit with FRED and Roscoe P. Coltrane with Flash, Me Myself I'd always wanted my very own basset hound. The very day I was looking in the pet section of the paper and my wife and I were living with my mother at the time and she was a little against it cause she was afraid it would ruin the house. But she buckled down and gave in and said I could have one dog. So I called the people who lived in a city called Glenwood acres just on the other side of Gilmer Texas. They said they had one male left and it was Bandit. At the time I was so overwhelmed with their cuteness I called my Mom and asked her if I could get two of them and she said NO so I picked out the one I wanted and left. It's been one loving moment after another since I've had him cause without even teaching him anything he is very intelligent and adorably beautiful and handsome. My wife and I routinely make trips to PETCO and almost everytime we go up there the staff members pet him and the customers adore him and if we happen the come across a female dog the stare at him and want him. When everybody in the world shuns me and the world turns their back on me BANDIT will stay by my side till the end of time.
TRIGGER
Well then at one point and time when my wife and I were struggling to get our own place out in the country. The people who were renting the efficiency to us had an mama pitbull who was in love with a full blood smooth coat chow . Well they gave bith to a little of puppies and while my wife and I were out there we started looking at them cause they were all hopping at the fence saying (pick me pick me ) so I knew I wanted a male cause BANDIT was just starting to go through the stages of walking around mumbling to himself "God I wanna get laid". . So I picked the male I wanted and on the way home we could'nt think of a name for it for nothing . So we went out to the city track where we let our dogs run free today and while we were out there my wife knew I wanted to name it something relevant to Smokey and The Bandit so she popped off with "What about the name TRIGGER honey" ? and I loved it and it's been that way ever since . Trigger looks more like his mama Hailey then anything but he has his daddy Red's red smooth coat. if you notice you can definately see the pitbull in his face and the stern look of don't mees with me unless you want your ass bit by a pit .
BUFORD
THERE WAS A MAN IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD NAME RICKY. AT FIRST I THOUGHT RICKY WAS A GOOD MAN FOR HE HAD A GUARDEN IN HIS YARD AND GOOD LOOKING DOGS IN HIS BACKYARD AND HE NEVER ONCE WAS EVER CROSS WITH ANYBODY THAT I KNEW OF . I LIVE IN THE GHETTO SUBURBS (temporarily) BY THE WAY. WHEN I CAME TO FIND OUT THAT RICKY HAD FOUND A BETTER JOB IN ANOTHER CITY OF TEXAS I ALSO FOUND THAT HE LEFT BEHIND AN OLD MAMA PITBULL THAT WAS ON THE BRINK OF GIVING BABIES . SHE HAD A 6 PACK OF PUPS . THE MAMA WOULD COME DOWN TO MY HOUSE AND EAT MY FOOD TO NURTURE HERSELF SO SHE COULD PROVIDE NURTURE ALSO FOR THE PUPS. WELL AN OLD WOMAN THAT USE TO BE A FRIEND TO RICKY UP UNTIL ONE CONCEPTION GATHERED AS MANY OF THE PUPS AS SHE COULD AND SENT THEM TO ANIMAL CONTROL. WELL THE ONE SHE COULD'NT CATCH WAS THE ONE SHE WANTED ME TO CATCH AND ADDED THAT I COULD DO WHATEVER I WANTED TO WITH IT , WETHER IT BE TAKEN TO ANIMAL CONTROL OR GIVING TO SOMEONE ELSE. THE PUPPY HAD A MESSED UP LEG THAT LOOKED LIKE IT'D BEEN STEPPED ON AND HE WALKED LIKE HE WAS EITHER DRUNK OR OFF BALANCE BUT HIS RIGHT ANKLE LOOKED LIKE IT WAS BROKEN . WELL NOTICING HIS CONDITION AND KNOWING THE TYPE OF PEOPLE THAT WE HAVE IN OUR UNFAIR CITY WAS VERY MUCH AFRAID HE'D BE ABUSED AND USED FOR EITHER A HOG DOG OR A FIGHTING RINGER . SO I TOOK HIM IN AND DUBBED HIM THE NAME BUFORD AFTER BUFORD T, JUSTICE OF SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT . I STARTED FEEDING HIM NUTRITOUS MEALS AND GIVING HIM LOTS OF LOVE AND ATTENTION AND CLEANING
Pet likes:
PET LIKES - Well like any dog BANDIT loves anything that involves food !!!!!
He loves going for car rides and like any hound dog he loves to sniff and smell countless things. He really lets his nose do the leading for him . When told to get on the bed and being layed by he'll automatically roll over on his back and whine as to say (Hey scratch my belly please) TRIGGER on the other hand loves water . he won't even get in his dog house when it rains cause he loves water. playing with his friends BANDIT and BUFORD . chasing cats and anything else he thinks he can catch . Without being taught he can shake paws(Hands) . BUFORD - he loves to chew on things. He's still in potty training class. He loves to wrestle with BANDIT & TRIGGER . He ain't stop eating since we got him . As any animal should he loves attention and compassion .
CINNAMON on the other hand is a tease and loves to aggrivate TRIGGER . She loves being outside and she sleeps underneath the house and her food and water dish in on the porch and she'll come up and feed and water herself whe nshe wants to. She comes and goes as she pleases but she never leaves the vicinity the yard and if she does she knows where home is
Pet dislikes:
PET DISLIKES - NONE OF THEM LIKE ANYONE GRABBING THEIR TAILS. BANDIT DON'T LIKE VEGETABLES. TRIGGER DON'T LIKE BLACK PEOPLE. BUFORD DON'T LIKE LOUD NOISES (but he's still a puppy though).
Pet’s favorite spot:
PET'S FAVORITE SPOT - Bandit I'd have to say his belly . he love to be scatched all over his belly. TRIGGER's spot would be his ears and BUFORD well you can scratch and pet him anywhere. As for CINNAMON ... You gotta catch her first !!!!
Pet’s favorite toy:
PET'S FAVORITE TOY - ANYTHING THEY CAN SINK A TOOTH IN
Pet’s silliest habit:
PET'S SILLIEST HABITS-- BANDIT'S WOULD BE ROLLING OVER ON HIS BELLY WANTING YOU TO SCRATCH HIS BELLY AND WHEN YOU DON'T DO IT HE GRABS YOUR HAND WITH HIS PAW. TRIGGER'S WOULD BE THAT HE LOVES TO CHASE CINNAMON (our cat) AND WHEN HE DON'T CATCH HER HE STANDS THERE AND WHINES . BUFORD'S WOULD BE WHEN WE'RE AT THE TRACK HE'LL TRY TO BEST TO KEEP UP WITH BANDIT AND TRIGGER UNTIL HE GETS TIRED THEN HE'LL JUST WALK WITH MY WIFE AND I . CINNAMON'S SILLIEST HABIT WOULD BE THE WAY SHE LIKES TO DRAW ATTENTION TO HERSELF AS TO SAY "PLEASE GIVE ME SOME LOVIN" AND THEN WHEN SOME ONE TRIES TO SHE BOLTS AS TO SAY GOTCHA .
Pet’s sweetest moments:
PET'S SWEETEST MOMENT -- MY WIFE AND I CAME OUTSIDE ONE MORNING TO GO SOMEWHERE AND CINNAMON AND BANDIT WERE CURLED UP IN BANDIT'S DOG HOUSE TOGETHER . SHELTERING ONE ANOTHER FROM THE MORNING COLD WEATHER . TRIGGER'S WOULD HAVE TO BE HERE RECENTLY WHEN TRIGGER JUMPED IN A RAVINE OF 7FT WATER TO SAVE BUFORD FROM DROWNING .
I crack up when my pet:
I CRACK UP WHEN MY PET -- I'll crack up when I'm scratching BANDIT belly on the bed and then I'll stop and say (Nah you don't like that ) just playing with him and he'll throw the biggest fit and start whining and hitting me with his paw as to say (Yes I do , Now don't stop ) TRIGGER MAKES ME LAUGH WHEN HE'S REAL EXCITED AND HE'LL START HITTING ME WITH HIS PAW AS TO TRY TO GET MY ATTENTION LIKE SAYING "hey what's up I'm right here " . BUFORD cracks me up when we're at the track and my wife and I will be walking around getting exercise while the dogs run and BANDIT and TRIGGER will be going up on a hill that leads up to the dividing fence between the track and the public road and BUFORD will run back to us as to ask if it's ok if he goes up there on the hill with BANDIT and TRIGGER and we'll reassure him it's ok and he'll take off running up there . Another one that makes me laugh and hurts at the sametime is BUFORD has a habit of taking the food out of my hand and biting my fingers at the sametime .
My pet is unique because:
MY PET IS UNIQUE BECAUSE -
BANDIT is very intelligent without any training
I would'nt have any other dog but him if it be my choice . He's always alert and always has his nose to the ground when something seems interesting or strange to him . Those are tactics of a good hunting or sleuth dog . He kinda reminds me of Scooby Dum a little bit . (LOL) TRIGGEER is unique because he is very cautious about new people being around . He's protective of my wife and now BUFORD. BUFORD is unique simply cause he's a puppy and he's cute as a rose on a sunday morning . As BUFORD gets older his uniqueness will evolve and grow

Pilot's Dilemma.
You are a South African bush pilot. You fly in some critical medical supplies, enjoy a quick lunch at the hospital.

It's a stifling 100 degrees, in the shade and no shade. You're eager to get back up to the cool, high blue yonder. On the way back to your plane, you discover that the only bit of shade, within 10 miles, has become very popular . . . You start calculating the distance to the plane door.. . and wonder . . .

"Do I feel lucky today?"

OHIO TO BAN PIT BULL TYPE DOGS???

Ohio State Representative Tyrone Yates has proposed House Bill 568 that, if passed, will prohibit the ownership of "pit bull" type dogs in the State of Ohio.

If House Bill 568 passes, all "pit bull" owners will be required to surrender their dogs to the dog warden within 90 days of the effective date of the proposed law. The bill provides that a dog warden "shall" euthanize all "pit bulls" within 10 days of their surrender.
In addition, a dog warden or other officer who has probable cause to believe that a dog is a "pit bull" type dog, may apply for a search warrant. With the search warrant, the officer will have the authority to seize the dog and surrender it to the dog warden to be killed.

TAKE ACTION NOW!!!
