- Leto - 11 yrs - AM-Staf
Hector - 8 years - American PItbull
Buddy - 5 years - Pit Bull mix
- How we met:
- Leto - a friend found her inthe streets when she wa 6 mos.
Hector - adopted at 6 mos from the Seattle Pit Bull Project
Buddy - adopted from co-worker at 6 mos - he was seen thrown from a car at about 8 weeks, my co-worker couldn't spend enough time with him.
- Pet likes:
- Visitng the park across the street Camping, hiking, the ocean! The mountians. Naps. Swimming, snow, sleeping in the sun or in front of the wood burning stove. They like visiting thier veterinarian and Grandma! Of course - rides in the car.
- Pet dislikes:
- They hate it when I got to work.
And...BSL and peta!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Pet’s favorite spot:
- "our" queen size bed.
- Pet’s favorite toy:
- Leto - her red ball.
Hector - his tug-o-war rope
Buddy - any card board box
- Pet’s silliest habit:
- Leto - she watches TV and barks at he animals.
Hector- his need to snuggle and be an 80# lap dog
Buddy-jumping off the end of the couch between the couch back and the wall instead of walking around the couch - he makes agame out of everything.
- Pet’s sweetest moments:
- Everytime I come home.
- I crack up when my pet:

- My pet is unique because:
- Leto - everyone says there is something "special" about her...she's very intuitive and even psychic.
Hector - he's needy, affectionate and very loving.
Buddy - he's the "clown" - he does things to make all of us giggle.

You are a South African bush pilot. You fly in some critical medical supplies, enjoy a quick lunch at the hospital.
It's a stifling 100 degrees, in the shade and no shade. You're eager to get back up to the cool, high blue yonder. On the way back to your plane, you discover that the only bit of shade, within 10 miles, has become very popular . . . You start calculating the distance to the plane door.. . and wonder . . .

Ohio State Representative Tyrone Yates has proposed House Bill 568 that, if passed, will prohibit the ownership of "pit bull" type dogs in the State of Ohio.
If House Bill 568 passes, all "pit bull" owners will be required to surrender their dogs to the dog warden within 90 days of the effective date of the proposed law. The bill provides that a dog warden "shall" euthanize all "pit bulls" within 10 days of their surrender.
In addition, a dog warden or other officer who has probable cause to believe that a dog is a "pit bull" type dog, may apply for a search warrant. With the search warrant, the officer will have the authority to seize the dog and surrender it to the dog warden to be killed.
