- Proud pet parent of:
- 8 Pitbulls, two of which are rescue dogs. They are all like my children, they have so much love to give & are such a joy. Now that I am better educated about this breed (& animals in general) I will never purchase another dog, I will always adopt & rescue from now on. I am thankful everyday for having my pets in my life.
- How we met:
- One of our dogs was in an abusive, neglectful home & when we were presented with that option to take in this dog we were told she had a limp, we had no idea the extent of her condition. When we first saw her she was boney, injured, infested with parasites & had a few areas were she was bleeding. We took her to the vet & he recommended a specialist, we took her in to learn that she had a factured hip & because it had been that way for sometime her bones had grined together & would be quite extensive work. He asked about what happened & we explained we only had her 2 days & weren't totally sure of her history but wanted to go ahead with the surgery. We learned afterwards that her previous owner had run over her approx two months before we got her & while she was injured other dogs (strays we were told) attacked her. The previous owners never got treatment for her & she tried to walk around on a fractured hip for about two months. The surgery went well, she nows runs like she has never had a problem, she is a great addition to our family & we lover her very much

- Our dogs love to chase a piece of water hose that we tied to a string, they love to play fetch, & swim.
- Pet’s favorite spot:
- Their backyard, any lake, or water were they can play in.
- Pet’s favorite toy:
- tennis ball, water hose, chewies
- Pet’s silliest habit:
- Pits are so silly
- Pet’s sweetest moments:
- Our pits are very sweet & affectionate, they love human affection, & love to cuddle
