Companion gift from my family. I am in a motorized vehicle.
Pet likes:
LOVES playing football (he's a receiver) and waiting poolside for the football to come to him when we throw it in the pool.
He's a great hockey player with a bone, especially on the Italian marble tile floor in the kitchen. He's also fairly proficient at throwing the bone, so watch out everyone. Teal'c enjoys running beside my scooter on our long walks.
Pet dislikes:
Teal'c contracted Parvo when he was almost 5 months old. He had to spend some time in the hospital where he had 24/7 companionship. Every time he whimpered there was someone to meet his every need, since he was almost dead. After a blood transfusion he miraculously recovered. When he came home he expected the same 24/7 attention. He now suffers from separation anxiety. He also whines every time I speak with someone else. He lives with 3 MinPins and loves them dearly. He was raised by the younger male and he thinks he is a MinPin.
Pet’s favorite spot:
By the poolside.
Pet’s favorite toy:
His football, most definitely.
Pet’s silliest habit:
He lays with his feet up in the air with a ball in his mouth. Since I have had German Shepherd Dogs for nearly 45 years, I made sure the ball is larger than a tennis ball so that he does not sufficate from the ball lodging in his throat.
Pet’s sweetest moments:
When he acts like a MinPin. He is also really sweet when he has to have his football in his mouth. He even holds it when he goes pottie.
I crack up when my pet:
Waits and waits for his football to "come to him" in the pool and when he potties with his football in his mouth.
My pet is unique because:
He wasn't expected to survive the Parvo and because he thinks he is a MinPin.
Thank you, so much, Brenda. Teal'c and I hope to fix his separation anxiety with advice from the members and the animal behaviorist. I cannot find out how to post a question, however.
Thanks again, Patti
