- Gracie Nee' Metsch a 9 lb 9 oz Blue Rat Terrier that is 2 years old.
Nello Metsch a 22 lb Apricot Tabby that is 11 years old.
- How we met:
- Nello's momma cat was stray I took in while she was with litter. Ater the kittens were born I had Momma fixed and the kittens. I found good home for everyone and decided to keep My Nello he stole My heart from the moment he was born. He hasn't turned loose if it yet, I don't think He ever will. Now little Miss Gracie Nee' is the first animal I have had in all of My adult life that was not a rescue. She was a gift from My Husband's sister. She bred her 2 Rat Terriers there were 4 pups in the litter. I told My sister in-law I would love to have one. She only let one of the pups out of the family and that one went to her best friend. Gracie Nee' was the smallest of all the pups so she was given to Me because My sister in-law knew their were no small children in My home and that Gracie would be spoiled rotten as well as taken care of as if she were My child.
- Pet likes:
- Gracie Nee' loves to go out back and lay in the sun. She also loves her walks to Birkdale. She loves her GeeMaw and curling up under the covers to sleep. Gracie like people foodies better than dog foodies. But she doen't get it anymore. We finally broke GeeMaw of feeding Gracie everything she eats. Now Gracie's favorite treats are Mini-teddy bear peanut butter cookies from Pet Co they are just the perfect size for her. Nello is easy to please He like to lay anywhere Gracie isn't. lol He love to get face rubs and belly scratches. His favorite nap spots are any sun puddle He can find and His Daddy's lap.
- Pet dislikes:
- Gracie HATES bath time and nail triming time. She will run and hide behind her GeeMaw. She also hates to go outside when it is raining. Nello hates only one thing when Gracie pesters Him when He doesn't want to be bothered.
- Pet’s favorite spot:
- Gracie favorite spot is under the covers with whoever is in the bed and on someones lap. Also out back laying in the sun. Nello loves laying in the windows . He also loves any sun puddle He can find. Laying Momma and Daddy's bed for his afternoon naps and Daddy's lap.
- Pet’s favorite toy:
- Gracie has 3 favorite toys. Her pink fire hydrant that giggles when she shakes it. Her pink butterfly with the crinkle wings and squeaky. And her purple loofa doggie from her Catty Aunties in Florida. Nello only plays with one toy that is his tie dyed Cat Tamer He likes It best when We act like He is a Big Cat and use it like a whip. He will catch it and bite it and try and run away with it. He also loves I mean loves His cat nippers.
- Pet’s silliest habit:
- Gracie gets what We call puppie fits. She will start running thur the house as fast as she can for no apperant reason and it will last for up to 10 mins. That and she play scoccer with seedless grapes when we give then to her she thown then up in the air then chases then and bats them around with her paws. Nello is to stately to ever act silly He thinks He is above sillyness.
- Pet’s sweetest moments:
- Gracie sweetest moments are when she sneeks into bed with Me and her Daddy. She will put her head on her Daddy's shoulder and snuggle up to Him it is sooo precious. Nello every once in a great while will come and curl up under the covers with Me and lay His head on My tummy and softly knead Me til He falls asleep like He did when He was a kitten.

I love all animal's it doen't matter to me what kind,I feel God put them all here for a purpose and that is to teach us how to be understanding no matter what language it is.
