Garage door that's left ajar so he can peek out at the street and keep a sharp eye out for anyone that doesn't belong out there.
Pet’s favorite toy:
A six sided tri color squeeky toy that he throws up and catches and squeeks. Holds and bites to squeek it but never breaks the squeeker. He's had it for over 9 years and still loves it.
Pet’s silliest habit:
When I'm not paying enough attention to him, he lays on his side and stretches his paw out and scrapes the rug to get my attention. That means he wants a pet or rub.
Pet’s sweetest moments:
When I bring him in from the garage at night and lock the door and tell him it is nite nite time, he immediately goes into my bedroom where his pillow is and goes to bed. After I go to bed, he gets up, comes out and stays out in the living room until my adult daughter goes to bed. When she goes to bed, he returns to his pillow in my room until morning when I get up and let him out.
I crack up when my pet:
is hungry. He comes in, puts his head practically in my face and licks his lips. Tellin me it is time to eat. He has the time down pretty good too. It's always around the same time each evening or morning when he lets me know.
My pet is unique because:
He is really intimidating when people are around outside the house, but when they come in he is a pussy cat. He is a very large German Shepherd and as loveable as they come. He's getting old and not as active anymore but he's still my baby.

I just noticed that they may be doing some maintenance on the website. It's aggravating when the tools don't work like they should. I have problems, too, so don't think it's just you. LOL!
Oh, ok. I didn't realize what your dogs name was. My baby was brought back to the SPCA twice. Once by the owner and another that adopted him. He was only 2 1/2 when I got him. The last ones that had him said he was too agressive. Well, that's what German Shepherds do. They guard their families and homes. Outside of my house, he is a pussy cat. People need to know the personalties of their breeds before adopting them. If these people had a clue about German Shepherds they would have known this is normal. I've had German Shepherds all my life and will for the rest of it, the Good Lord willing.
Sorry, I was talking about my dog, Sargeant. He was a rescue. His last family thought obedience training was hitting and yelling, and when he got too big, they kept him in a carrier most of the time. Do not understand. He is such a great dog. He came to live with us when he was 8 months old and has never chewed anything but his toys.
Thanks. I know what you mean. I do not understand what Sargeant's last family was thinking. They obviously did not realize what they had or even really cared.
