- Proud pet parent of:
- two beautiful long hair german shepherds.....nero and nikita
- How we met:
- i got nero out of the pound in germany...he was beaten and really scared...i took my time with him and within a couple days he would finally come to me and let me pet him......its been almost 9 years since i got him...and he is the best dog i could ever hope to have.....then there is nikita.....when i got here she was a strong willed dog...she still is at times when i let her...lol....she was 1 and a half year old when i got her and she had 9 different owners before me...noone took teh time to teach her they just couldn't handle it and just shoved her to someone else.....one of the ladies that was taking care of her while the owner was gone talked to me about her and she said that the owner just left and hasn't been back in 3 weeks and if he wasn't comeing back then she would have to get her to the pound so i told her to talk to me before she does that that i would take her....so i took her...when the owners came back they signed her over to me and i have had her ever since...its been almost5 years...they are both great dogs and part of my family and will always be....
- Pet likes:
- nero likes anything that smells good he is the spoiled one...lol....nikita will eat about anything
- Pet dislikes:
- nero only food that doesn't smell good....nikita hates getting a bath or brushed...nero could care less....lol....
- Pet’s favorite spot:
- nero right by the steps....he is getting so old he can't walk the stairs anymore...wish we had an elevator.....
nikita sleeps right by my husbands bedside
- Pet’s favorite toy:
- nikita loves a stick and nero loves his tennis balls
- Pet’s silliest habit:
- nikita will rub her nose and face in the couch after she is done eating...lol....nero wants his butt scratched after he is done eating...and he will go through your legs...stop right under you so you can scratch it...lol...
- Pet’s sweetest moments:
- both dogs wanting to share the bed...i actually have a picture of that....
- I crack up when my pet:
- nero has the energy when he sees another dog otherwise he just is so mellow......
nikita will always take nero's toy away and its so cute to watch when they have a tugwar....lol....
- My pet is unique because:
- nero understands only german......
nikita has to have the last word in everything......
