Owen James (black and tan longhaired dapple mini Doxie)
How we met:
Owen I bought from a wonderful breeder. I saw his picture and fell in love with him!
Pet likes:
Owen loves to go for walks. Hes only 6mths so he is still a baby. He loves to chase squirrels (although they are way too fast for him) and leaves and anything that moves. But most of all he just likes to be by my side.
Pet dislikes:
Owen absolutely hates when it rains out. He refuses to potty outside when it is raining (we're still working on that). He also hates being woken up..but who doesnt?
Pet’s favorite spot:
Owen finds the couch very comfy and thats where he naps. he also loves the garden (where hes not supposed to be)
Pet’s favorite toy:
he has a stuffed squirrel that he loves and a pink candy cane squeaky toy..
Pet’s silliest habit:
when its windy out he will chase the leaves when they blow and catch them and then spit them out
Pet’s sweetest moments:
when he watches me leave for school with his little face looking out the door. or when i get my keys he always bolts to the front door
I crack up when my pet:
he actually smiles...he shows all his teeth..like if i come home and say "Hi Owen!" he gets sooo excited he wiggles his whole body and shows his teeth
My pet is unique because:
he understands me and is a gentle and wonderful soul
instead of letting your puppy go outside and not monitoring him, go with him outside and when he does decide to goto the bathroom tell him what he is doing. for example he starts peeing outside say "go potty" then as soon as he finishes pottying say GOOD BOY!!! give him praise. When he poops on the floor, if you catch him you say No "name"! and immediately take him outside.
My pit bull pup dpes the same thing, and knows he shouldn't. I can tell from the look on his face. I think they are so busy enjoying the outside they forget what they went out for. Next time try taking the doodoo(in a doggie bag) and the dog out, let him see you put it on the ground and say POTTY OUTSIDE!! firmly. Then tell him good dog, and go in. Do this every time, and eventually he'll get it. Good luck.
Don't worry.Your dog must have problably have been distracted when you let it out.Maybe he was to interested in the trees,or...you know.Don't worry,he'll get over it sometime.
You have the cutest little Owen! I have a blk/tan named Buster; he's on my profile page, along with the other 3 dogs in our home. Owen's really a cutie!

On Harley's picture that you left a comment on, do you see how the back drop is creased and looks like its being pulled on? My dad was behind the back drop holding on to Harley's tail so that he would stay in the store since he didn't have a leash on =0)
