Lenny is a welsh corgi/german shepherd mix that was given to my family by another family who didn't realize all the spunk and energy that corgis can have. It was either us or the pound so you could say he got very lucky! He's been with us for 11 years now and is still going strong. Minou and ET are both rescue cats. ET was adopted from the San Gabriel Humane society here in California. He was born at the shelter and came home with us when he was 9 months old. To really cement the adoption, he freaked out and had bloody diarrhea the moment that we turned the corner. Minou was an abandoned kitten that we found who had a ton of health problems including worms, fleas and a wierd infection in her tummy! Today they are all big furry spoiled animals!
Pet likes:
Big furry dogs and crazy cats.
Pet dislikes:
Cat hair everywhere, even in my mouth! 4:30 AM wake-up call for feeding, running around the house like wild banshees right as we're going to bed/waking up in the morning.
Pet’s favorite spot:
On me or my husband while we sleep.
Pet’s favorite toy:
Da Bird (the cat) also, cardboard boxes, newspaper, socks, shoes, sandals and of course our face.
Pet’s silliest habit:
Chewing my nose for food in the morning (cats make the best alarm clocks), immediately running in front of my and rolling on their backs for a tummy rub the MINUTE I come come home for work (cats included). Using a pillow like a human.
Pet’s sweetest moments:
I love when Minou comes into the bed with us and plops on her back for a cuddle or when Lenny comes to my side and puts his nose under my arm (telling me to pet him of course).
I crack up when my pet:
Mr. ET is hilarious especially when he wants to play with Minou and she's not in the mood. He'll run up to her bat her in the face and then run away. Lenny will get really into it when your petting him and start grunting like a caveman, it's a little disturbing but totally hilarious!
My pet is unique because:
They all have their own personalities, they're all different creatures with different styles.
