I think she disliked the new rug, so she peed on it in protest. Now I think she dislikes the underad, so she pees on it to protest. Replacing the pad is very quick and it sure beats having to constantly wash that big rug. I'm wondering if the pads are practical for the longterm. Should I remove the pad and just let her pee on the rug and get used to it? If youthink of any ideas, please share them and I'll do the same.

I have the same exact problem with my kitty. I tried the spray too and it didn't work for me.
